New Boats at the 2021 Fort Lauderdale Boat Show

Get a sneak peek at the new fishing machines on display at this year’s show.

The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, one of the two largest events of its kind in the world, returned to Broward County, Florida, with exhibitors displaying a wide range of boats, motors and related products at six different venues, including the Broward County Convention Center, Bahia Mar Yachting Center, Pier 66 and Las Olas marinas, and more. As usual, Salt Water Sportsman was there to bring you a sneak peek of the new fishing machines launched at the show, listed below in alphabetical order.

Albemarle 30 Express

The 30 Express combines its hardtop and wrap-around windshield design to provide the crew with superb protection from the elements. SWS Staff

Located to starboard of the cabin’s entry, the helm has sufficient mounting real estate for dual MFDs, engine monitoring display, VHF radio, marine stereo and more. SWS Staff

A 30-gallon livewell with clear lid and calming-blue interior finish is strategically located in the middle of the transom. SWS Staff

Aft seating and considerable rod storage add comfort and efficiency without encroaching on the boat’s spacious, uncluttered cockpit. SWS Staff

Blackfin 232DC

Coaming bolsters serving as backrests complement the U-shaped bow seating with dry storage underneath. Dedicated, forward-facing backrests enable lounging, and a removable table turns the bow into a great lunch spot. SWS Staff

The ergonomically-designed helm comes with a compass, waterproof switches, engine monitoring display, 12-volt and USB outlets, MP3 adapter and room for dual gauges and a multi-function display in between. SWS Staff

Fishing features include a port side 18-gallon, insulated livewell with blue interior on the transom. SWS Staff

Contender 44 CB

In-deck compartments and a coffin-box beneath the forward-console lounger provide ample stowage and fish-box capacity while leaving plenty of room to follow hooked fish around the boat. SWS Staff

The spacious helm easily accommodates a pair of large MFDs, plus engine monitoring display, VHF radio, audio system control, and many other essentials and conveniences. SWS Staff

Aft seating starts with a bench-style seat for three with contoured backrests, fold-down armrests and 6 flush-mount rod holders right in back of the triple captain chairs at the helm. SWS Staff

A full-beam bench butts against the transom, accommodating four or five crew without impeding access to the twin 55-gallon livewells with clear lids. SWS Staff

Cushioned, raised boxes to port and starboard provide both seating and dry storage at the bow. SWS Staff

The business side of the console has mounting space for a 10-inch MFD, and includes a compass, rocker-switch panel, a pair of multi-function gauges, and a glove compartment for storing valuables. SWS Staff

An aluminum leaning post with fold-down footrest, a four-rod rocket launcher on the backrest, and cooler space at the base provides seating for two at the helm. SWS Staff

The boat also features Dusky’s integrated outboard bracket, which improves performance and doubles as a swim platform. SWS Staff

Everglades 455cc

The wide helm has enough mounting area for a trio of 22-inch MFDs, and features elegant teak accents, air-conditioner vents, and Garmin’s digital switching with touch-screen control. SWS Staff

Three teak, ladderback chairs with fold-down armrests mounted on SHOX rotating bases seat the skipper and two crew at the helm, with similar second-row seating right behind. SWS Staff

Mezzanine seating with tackle storage, coaming bolsters, and side doors to port and starboard, add comfort, efficiency, and direct water access in the cockpit. SWS Staff

The transom houses three foldaway seats, 50-gallon livewells with clear lids and windows on opposite corners, and a large fish box with dividers right between them. SWS Staff

Intrepid 427 Nomad FE

The console features an integrated hardtop and glass windshield with power vent, as well as an ergonomically-designed helm with room for dual MFDs and a second tear that puts switches and other essentials at arm’s length. SWS Staff

Behind the helm seats, an aft-facing cabinet can be equipped to serve as a summer kitchen, complete with sink and faucet, electric grill, storage drawers, and slide-out fridge and cooler. SWS Staff

Forward seating includes a console seat with storage underneath, and a separate forward lounge for two — with electrically-actuated backrests — over a massive coffin-box-style fish box. SWS Staff

Pursuit S 358

Comfortable bow-seating — mimicking a sectional sofa – hides substantial storage underneath, while an electrically actuated table that rises from deck level makes it an ideal social zone. SWS Staff

With steering located on the centerline, the air-conditioned, aft-tilting helm boast enough room on the dash for all necessary electronics, including dual 16-inch multi-function displays. SWS Staff

Split-design, foldaway mezzanine seating rests against the cockpit entertainment center, which incorporates a sink with faucet, insulated cooler, electric grill, and pull-out style refrigerator. SWS Staff

The transom houses additional foldaway seating, plus a door to port and a 32-gallon, aquarium-style livewell with clear lid to starboard. SWS Staff

Scout 231 XSB

U-shaped bow seating includes storage underneath and removable, forward-facing backrests to port and starboard for lounging. SWS Staff

The console has space on the dash for a 10-inch MFD, engine monitor display and stereo or VHF radio, and comes with a switch panel, trim-tab rocker switches, and a cubby to keep phones and valuables handy. SWS Staff

A transom bench with removable backrests accommodates three, nestled between dual 26-gallon, oval livewells in opposite corners. SWS Staff

Horizontal racks on both gunwales cradle three rods on each side. SWS Staff

Solace 415 CS

The cutting-edge helm incorporates a full Garmin electronics suite with the glass cockpit multi-function display. SWS Staff

The space-saving design of the mezzanine seating includes a tackle- and food-prep center under the seat, complete with storage drawers, sink with faucet, electric grill and dual slide-out coolers. SWS Staff

The new 415CS features an innovative, clean transom that allows full access for unobstructed on-deck activities such as fishing, swimming and diving. SWS Staff

The 415 CS is powered by twin Volvo Penta D6-440 diesel Aquamatic DPI inboards with counter-rotating DuoProp propellers, affording a range of 490 miles on the standard 444-gallon tank. SWS Staff
