Creators Aaron Benzrihem, Ryan Izquierdo, and Tyler Wald joined forces for two days in Port St. Lucie, Florida, with one objective: putting the Lewmar Axis shallow water anchors to the test on a skinny water stealth mission in search of trophy snook in heavy structure. Aaron is a veteran of this “combat” style of fishing, where heavy tackle and a locked drag are imperative to pull these aggressive fish out of structure.
Ryan and Tyler quickly learned just how powerful these structure dwellers are, as they frayed off leader after leader within seconds. However, it wasn’t long before the team dialed in the technique. Two days of ups and downs on the hunt for linesiders ended in success as many fish were caught and released. The shallow water anchors allowed the skiff to quickly (and quietly) position the boat for the team to pitch live baits off the bow. Mission accomplished.
Aaron Benzrihem (Abenz Fishing)
Aaron Benzrihem is an avid angler based out of southeast Florida. He grew up snook fishing on Sanibel Island and now writes, shoots, and edits fishing stories and videos that document his efforts to catch the biggest inshore fish Florida has to offer.
Ryan Izquierdo (Ryan Iz Fishing)
Ryan Izquierdo is an avid angler and content creator based out of Florida’s Southeast coast. Born and Raised in Miami, Florida. Ryan specializes in hunting for Florida’s exotic freshwater species from the urban canal banks of Miami, to the picturesque Florida Everglades. He is currently pursuing a career in the Fire Service and creating content in his free time. Join him on his recent travels in the Amazon Jungles of South America hunting for River Monsters.
Tyler Wald (Suns Out Fishing)
Tyler Wald is a full-time content creator born and raised in Miami, Florida. Tyler has known from the age of 5 that fishing is his undeniable passion. After spending his 20s working sales jobs he decided to take a leap of faith and pursue that passion in hopes of creating a fulfilling career. He now creates a diverse array of fishing content showcasing his adventures on the water both local and abroad!
