To cut down on vibration, I pulled out my battery and positioned a half of a tennis ball under each corner. Then I set the battery back down and tightened the clamps. The tennis balls act as a shock absorber and cut down on the vibration when my boat gets pounded by waves. They also elevate the battery, providing more cooling airflow all the way around.
