The Pennsylvania House of Representatives unanimously approved the Pennsylvania Freedom to Fish Resolution. Introduced at the behest of the Pennsylvania chapter of the Recreational Fishing Alliance, the non-binding resolution calls on all coastal states to pass a Freedom to Fish Act. The resolution also recognizes the importance of salt water angling and the economic contribution it makes to the state. Many Pennsylvanians fish in the waters of nearby states, including New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland. Pennsylvania is also home to Penn Fishing Tackle Company.
