Best Saltwater Reel The Penn Slammer III won the category of Best Saltwater Reel, featuring a new IPX6 sealed gearbox, full metal body and drag system with Dura-Drag.Megan Williams
Best Fishing Line P-Line Tactical Flourocarbon was voted best fishing line, engineered using the latest advancements in extrusion technology to create a flourocarbon line with all-around performance. Available in 200 yard spools in 6- to 20-pound test.Megan Williams
Best Soft Lure The Longtail Flippy Floppy by Squidnation won the Best Soft Lure category. Designed to tease offshore species like billfish, tuna, wahoo and dolphin, the Flippy Floppy mimics a fish attacking a school of fleeing baitfish and draws aggressive strikes from big pelagic fish.Megan Williams
Best Eyewear Costa took the award for Best Eyewear with the Rafael. The sunglasses feature a wrap-style frame with a wide temple design. The frames are available in four colors and are compatible with Costa’s line of polarized 580 lenses.Megan Williams
Best FishSmart Product Adventure Products Inc. won the FishSmart category with the EGO Kryptek S1 Genesis Medium Clear Landing Net, which floats and has a detachable handle for compact storage and travel — and has a transparent net mesh.Megan Williams
Best Saltwater Rod The Lew’s Mach Speed Stick/Inshore Rod won the category of Best Saltwater Rod. The rod is constructed with Lew’s Carbon Nano Tube construction for an additional layer of structural support, and also features guides from American Tackle’s new Air Wave system.Megan Williams
Best Rod and Reel Combo Lew also took the title of Best Rod and Reel Combo with the Mach II Speed Spool Combo, including the new SLP Super Low Profile 10-bearing reel with externally adjustable Magnetic Cast Control and a 7-foot IM8 graphite rod.Megan Williams
Best Fly Fishing Rod St. Croix won Best Fly Fishing Rod with the Sole fly rod, a 9-foot rod that includes two 28-inch tip sections. The rod is available in nine models and features a long butt section without ferrules.Megan Williams
Best Footwear Shimano’s new Flats Wading Boots took the title of Best Footwear. The boots are constructed from Vulcanized rubber and 5-millimeter neoprene with a front zipper and a belt loop ankle closure to keep debris out. Best Electronics Humminbird’s HELIX 10 SI won the Best Electronics category with a 10.1-inch screen and a 1500 nit display. Auto Chart Live comes standard on the unit, and it also runs Navionics and LakeMaster cartographies.Megan Williams
Best Giftware The Weego Jumpstarter 44 won the Best Giftware category. It’s able to jumpstart any vehicle with gas engines up to 6.4-liters and diesel engines up to 3.2-liters. It can also charge USB devices, power 12-volt electronics and includes a 500-lumen flashlight.Megan Williams
Best Lifestyle Apparel Under Armour won the Lifestyle Apparel category with the Men’s UA Fish Stalker SS.Megan Williams
Best Technical Apparel Frabill won the category of Best Technical Apparel with the I-Float Suit, a flotation-assisting ice fishing jacket officially recognized as a USCG Certified Personal Flotation Device. It includes high-visibility USCG reflective material, mesh self-draining openings and two ice picks with chest holsters.Megan Williams
Best Fishing Accessory YETI’s Hopper Flip 12 was voted Best Fishing Accessory with a wide-mouth opening and leak-proof zipper. Smaller than the original YETI Hopper, it is designed for portability and travel.Megan Williams
Best Tackle Management The Cobra Garage Storage Rack won the category of Best Tackle Management. The rack clamps to garage doors and can also be hard-mounted to walls, ceilings and solid or insulated garage doors. Its length can be adjusted to the size of the rod being stored.Megan Williams
