The Northstar 952XW GPS/Vector Charting System is a 12-channel GPS receiver with two channels dedicated to Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) differential corrections. The 952XW has a high-resolution, color LCD display that can be read in any light conditions, and the unit has a quick-response keypad to zoom in and out, as well as scroll up to ten times faster than competitive models. Point-and-shoot chart plotting and user-friendly software make navigation simple. The control head is built to stand up to the marine environment and can be either flush- or yoke-mounted.
