The PC-compatible MAP 330M has a 8 MB downloadable memory, and an 8 MB built-in database with thousands of navigational aids, coastline details and road maps, all in a single handheld unit that floats. The database also has an advanced search function that quickly locates the desired content.
Four customizable navigation screens indicate the user’s position and the direction to the destination on a detailed background map. The 330M also features anchor, arrival, and cross-track alarms, and displays bearing, heading, distance, speed, time-to-go, cross-track error and more. The unit can store up to 500 waypoints and 20 reversible routes, and the waypoint messaging feature lets you create notes for each landmark.
