The Plot 500F is an integrated color LCD video sounder and chart plotter. The video sounder has 600 watts RMS power and 50/200 kHz frequencies with through-hull and transom-mount transducer options available. The large screen is very bright and easy to read, even in daylight.
As a plotter, the 500F uses C-MAP cartography and is compatible with the C-MAP Ports and Tides program. The 500F works with either the JRC GPS-112 or the DGPS-212 and will accept GPS input from other units through an NMEA 0183 interface. JRC, Seattle, WA; (206) 654-5644; www.jrc.co.jp/
