Cannon’s new Mag 20 Digi-Troll (DT) takes downrigging to a new level. When interfaced with Bottom Line’s Tournament Champion Navigational Command Center (NCC) 6500 or Tournament Master NCC 5300, the system allows the user to raise, lower, bottom track or cycle up to six Mag 20 units, either independently or simultaneously, through the Command Center screen. The Mag 20’s bottom-tracking function allows the user to troll his bait at a preset distance from the bottom according to instructions from the depthsounder. Additionally, the unit’s cycle function will “jig” the lure or bait up and down at a predetermined depth and time interval. One downrigger can be programmed to run at a certain depth while another unit is being set up. Suggested retail price of the Mag 20 is $849.
