Boats peppered the convention floor Thursday morning, as boat and accessories manufacturers anticipated the day’s crowds. In this gallery of photos, you’ll see a variety of electronics, gear and accessories. If there is not a caption attached to a photo, either the photo accompanies the proceeding photo(s) or the photo is self-explanatory.
The Garmin booth had key new products, including the GPSMAP 8000 Glass Helm Series.
As part of the introduction, an entire presentation on the 8000 Glass Helm Series was given.
Event goers could even demo the GPSMAP 8000.
Raymarine introduced the Raymarine Dragonfly plotter.
Raymarine also featured its Evolution autopilots, which incorporate EV sensor core, 9-axis heading sensor and full function course computer.
Also on display were Raymarine’s TH-Series of night vision cameras.
With Minn Kota’s LINK system for its iPilot, anglers can use their Humminbird electronics and Minn Kota to communicate with each other.
Humminbird 360 imaging allows anglers to see up to 150 feet in each direction from the boat. Great for spotting bait schools.
The 360 imaging is mounted to the transom or a bracket and deploys similar to the Minn Kota Talon.
Some of FURUNO’s fish finders now feature a fish size analyzer function called ACCU-FISH.
FLIR continued with its night-vision technologies. FLIR is also the parent company of Raymarine.
FLIR’s M-Series was featured at the show, allowing boaters to control radar, charting, sounder, and thermal imaging on one multifunction display. The M-Series is also less expensive than some of the other FLIR series.
The FLIR First Mate series of thermal imaging now comes in a gray color.
Engel had on display its recently released portable, live bait cooler.
King Sailfish Mounts was on hand at the show, showing off its classic gamefish trophies.
YETI teamed up with West Marine to display its Tundra coolers.
Underwater photographer Tony Ludovico displayed his work and signed autographs.
This SURFTECH Blacktip Stand-up Paddle Board was on display at the West Marine booth. It’s made from a “natural composite” core material based on cellulose fiber.
The GoPro Hero 3 was for sale on display at the West Marine booth.
West Marine announced the winners of its fourth annual Green Product of the Year Award.
The Attwood Fuel Demand Valve only allows fuel to pass when the engine pulls fuel from the tank.
West Marine CFA Bottom Paint is a copper-free, dual biocide, water-based antifouling paint that uses new metal-free Econea biocide combined with a slime fighting inhibitor.
Gray Taxidermy drove down from Pompano Beach to show off their lifelike fish replicas.
The Billfish Foundation had an area for t-shirts and other clothing gear.
Salt Water Sportsman’s John Brownlee was featured on the Big Game Room Hall of Fame.
AFTCO had a full booth for all its performance gear.
At the AFTCO booth, different styles of fishing gloves included release, short-pump and sun protection.
Yellowfin Yachts was showing off new clothing gear, as well as its line of boats.
Hell’s Bay boats was at the show, supporting the Jose Wejebe Spanish Fly Memorial Foundation.
Sealegs is an amphibious vessel, that allows boaters to launch and retrieve their vessel safely without a trailer.
Line-X, known for its durable covers of truck beds, jumped into the marine scene. A number of boats at the show featured Line-X Marine Coating.
The C-Pack is a motorized all-terrain boat trailer with track drive.
There were a number of stand up paddle board companies showing off their latest designs, including the YOLO board. #YOLO
The DeLorme inReach is a compact satellite communicator that allows you to send and receive text messages from virtually anywhere in the world.
The Caframo Taku Fan is an easy-to-install hatch fan that features push button controls, LED lamp, and suction cup mounts with a pivoting axis.

Columbia’s Drainmaker and Powerdrain shoes allow water to pour out of this unique water shoe style.

SEA TOW was at the show offering prizes such as free memberships.
FCI’s reverse osmosis watermakers provide fresh water for small pleasure crafts to megayachts.
