Cobia 344 CC

The double-stepped-hulled 344CC center-console boasts fishing-friendly features.

The Cobia brand is often associated with value pricing, providing a quality boat at a comfortable price. So you’d expect that would generate strong survey scores in the value category, but it’s only part of the story. Cobia owners also proclaimed that their boats’ safety and durability rivaled that of more expensive models.

Cobia owners liked their boats’ performance, too. Here, cash is often saved by -horsepower shaved, but survey respondents with Cobia experience were more than satisfied with boat performance on and off plane.

Fishability? Those who fish Cobias praise them. And why not? The boats offer roomy, powerful livewells, deck plans that give crew plenty of working room, a helm station that protects skipper and crew from weather, and lots of space for electronics.

Cobia earned consistent above-average respect by building boats that are fully featured, well designed and strong. On a 50-point scale, Cobia’s scores in all four categories fell within a 2.6-point spread — and all for a competitive price.
