The Florida Keys is one of the most famous fishing destinations in the world, home to an impressive variety of fish species. Florida Keys creators Clay & Stephanie Cowart headed offshore on their brand-new Front Runner center console boat with Nick Haddad. Haddad works for Return ‘Em Right, a non-profit conservation organization that uses BP oil spill funds to promote the use of descending devices. Their goal was to demonstrate how to properly release out-of-season deepwater fish to prevent mortality and ensure the best opportunities for future generations of anglers. The team battled through rough conditions but managed to catch several species of snapper, as well as pelagics like mahi-mahi and king mackerel.

Clay & Stephanie Cowart created their YouTube channel, Life By The Bow, to educate and inspire viewers to live an avid lifestyle on the water, with a strong focus on travel, safety, and conservation. Clay was born and raised in South Florida, with a passion for boating and filmmaking. Stephanie grew up in the Florida Keys, where boating and fishing were a way of life.
