Robalo boats are built in what the company calls the world’s largest single-site boat-manufacturing plant: 1.25 million square feet in Nashville, Georgia, where it employs many second- and third-generation boatbuilding craftsmen who combine high quality into every boat.
Robalo’s diverse lineup blends tournament-level fishability and yachtlike comfort, making use of state-of-the-art technology and materials, including premium gelcoat, vinylester resin, Kevlar reinforcement, and stainless-steel hardware. Advanced marine electronics are provided by Simrad.
Robalo uses Envision upholstery material made from 100 percent SiO silicon. Supremely comfortable, it resists scuffing, scratching, sunlight, salt water, mildew and stains.
Awarded the Customer Satisfaction Index Award from the National Marine Manufacturers Association for 16 straight years, Robalo boats carry a lifetime limited hull warranty and a five-year premier-level limited warranty for accessories and components.
Robalo R300
Built on a carbon-reinforced hull designed by noted naval architect Michael Peters, the new Robalo R300 center-console boat boasts a fiberglass hardtop on a powder-coated frame, with overhead skylight, eight rod holders, an electronics box, a spreader light and overhead lights, and an overhead shower to the side.
The helm is fronted by a custom-bonded, electric folding front windshield and bonded side-window glass. Triple forward-facing helm seats offer flip-up bolsters and fold-down armrests. The bow casting platform quickly converts to bow seating.
This fishing machine is ready for success with a pair of 70-gallon insulated fish boxes aft, fitted with overboard drains and discharge pumps. Another pair of overboard-draining fish boxes—25 gallons each—resides in the bow.
Bait can be the key to bluewater success. On the R300, two 28-gallon insulated livewells have dedicated LiveWell pumps, LED lighting, a blue gelcoat interior finish, adjustable flow valves, and clear acrylic lids.
The electrically deployed transom seat folds flush into the transom wall when retracted. There are 22 rod holders throughout the boat; they include 14 at the transom and along the gunwale combined.
Powered by twin Yamaha F300s, the R300 gets to prime waters in a hurry, with a top speed of 58.8 mph.
Editor’s Note
In 2017, Robalo replaced its R300 with the R302. For 2025, it goes back to the future with an all-new R300 that’s the most advanced and user-friendly center-console that Robalo has ever built, delivering top-notch features and performance. -Alan Jones
