The Phenom 37 is not just a new offshore center-console boat; it’s the first boat from new company Phenom Yachts, based in South Carolina and headed by marine boatbuilding veteran Tommy Hancock. Its design is based around four pillars: family, fishing, luxury and performance. The 37 rides on Phenom’s NextStep hull boasting a race-inspired twin-stepped running surface. Innovative systems include a patent-pending, pressure-sensing sea-chest pump system that automatically adjusts water flow to the two 30-gallon, aquarium-style livewells to optimize bait health. Luxury touches include three-across premium helm chairs that are air-conditioned to keep crewmembers comfy during sultry days. Construction features an infused full-grid fiberglass stringer system and vacuum-infused fiberglass hull and interior. A Seakeeper 3 gyrostabilizer comes standard, as does a bow thruster and tuna/dive doors on both sides of the aft cockpit. With a 502-gallon fuel capacity, the Phenom 37 is available with a pair of Mercury V-12 outboards or triple Mercury V-10 outboards, both of which include Merc’s Joystick Piloting.
