Pathfinder boats specialize in fishing inshore and nearshore, pursuing tarpon in coastal waters, redfish in marshes, and muskie and striped bass in fresh water. But make no mistake—they are bluewater worthy too!
Design features come from Pathfinder’s angler-driven design team, pro guide staff, and loyal customers. Most models are built with Vacuum Assisted Resin Infusion System construction for the best possible strength-to-weight ratio.
Pathfinder 2400 TRS
The 2400 TRS (“TRS” stands for “Third Row Seating”) is, like its predecessor of the same name, a smaller, younger brother to the popular Pathfinder 2600 TRS. It seats eight comfortably.
The new 2400 TRS boasts more freeboard (24 inches versus the previous 19 inches), a 9-foot beam, and bow and stern integrated seating. It’s roomy, with the security of a deeper cockpit on a big-water-capable, single-step hull, while its 14-inch draft and 6-inch jack plate make this model a capable shallow-water hunter.
Standard fishing appointments include storage for 24 rods, a 38-gallon livewell, and a 125-quart fish box with optional macerator pump. Fishing options include an elevated second station, extended-shaft trolling motor, dual Power-Poles, and a 38-gallon release well. Family options include a ski pole, pump-out head, and removable sunshades fore and aft.
Pathfinder 2400 Open
Riding the same wave-taming hull as the 2400 TRS, the Pathfinder 2400 Open is even more fishing-focused.
The cockpit’s extension to the transom lets the angler fish bluewater from within the deep, secure and roomy cockpit. Worry not shallows fans: You can still easily sight-fish from the front casting deck.
The 2400 Open boasts ample livewell capacity, extra-large fish boxes, and generous rod storage.
Pathfinder 2200 TRS
The 2200 TRS’s spacious foredeck offers a generous platform for netting bait or sight-casting. A scant 13-inch draft readies you to venture forth to hunt fish in skinny water.
Strategically placed rod holders match nearshore and offshore assignments. Both the fore and aft casting platforms convert to cushioned seating for seven. Movement is unobstructed around the console, which features a helm that welcomes up to 16-inch displays.
Options include sunshades, Garmin Force Kraken trolling motor, Power-Poles, and a T-top or hardtop.
Editor’s Note
I have fished aboard numerous Pathfinders and have toured the factory in Fort Pierce, Florida. Whether on the water or the production line, every Pathfinder model’s purposeful design and construction has always amazed me. -Jim Hendricks
