Australia’s premier aluminum boatbuilder has entered the U.S. market with a multitude of new products, including the 168 Legend. Constructed from aluminum, which is 60-percent thicker and lighter than traditional hull materials, the 168 Legend delivers strength and performance without the additional weight of fiberglass, resulting in greater fuel efficiency.
Among the deepest and widest boats in its class, the 168 has a hinged center console that folds down for garage storage. Other notable features include a large casting platform with in-deck storage, four rod holders, two drink holders, center-console grab rail, swinging backrest, wiring harness, 18-gallon live well, insulated fishbox, auto bilge pump, self-bailing deck, hydraulic steering and sub-deck 26-gallon fuel tank. Available options include a convertible ski pole, cutting board, 11-gallon bait tank, rear folding ladder, kicker-motor bracket and chumming bucket.
Bringing more than 50 years of aluminum boatbuilding technology to the U.S., Quintrex is Australia’s largest manufacturer of aluminum fishing boats from ten to 20 feet.
