Q_ A number of years ago I received a fly rod as a prize from the Salty Fly Rodders, and you presented it to me. The 8 1/2-foot rod is a Lee Wulff signature rod made by Garcia-Conolon #2075. It is not marked with line weight. What line weight should I use with the rod, and will it work in salt water?

From your description, it is impossible for me to know what line is proper for the rod. However, I do recall those rods. They were a bit on the soft side, and almost any rod you buy today would probably cast better. I would hang it on the wall as a keepsake.
