6-7-10 Today was a great day to check things out in lake Borgne light winds and sun over head GOOD news the tripletails have shown up spotted 3 hunting under the booms. The booms are stretched all over the area giving the tails plenty of places to hide and hunt. I called my Hattiesburg duo from out in lake Borgne and said guess what I’m looking at they said they are ready and will be coming down towards the end of the week. We stopped and asked one of the boat crews working the booms and they said they have been seeing them for the past few days I also asked if they have spotted any oil and they said not yet on the inside. Give this areas guides a call the fishing is excellent from now till winter The Lake Borgne and Lake Pontchartrain areas are open and have never been closed we hope we stay spared during this crisis.
