Trip 7-20-09 tuff day on the water winds north east around 15 and a hard incoming tide. The tide was so hard around the Rigolets pass the crab corks were two feet under water had to be careful not to wrap one up in the prop. We ran up and down the lake jumping from one crab trap cork line to the next we only spotted 2 Tripletails but no hookups today. I called a couple of my crabbing buddies who have traps in Lake Borgne and they said they didn’t see many Tripletails today while running there lines. will try later in the week when the tide slows.
