Hi,
March give our customers great sight fishing for mangroves species mainly snooks and tarpons, also some small red snappers.
We caught some nice snook in the 4 to 12 lbs one estimated around 20 lbs had been missed. small baby tarpon gave good result too with around 20 luck by day.
We also had some great shot to big cudas in the mangroves rivers.
All this aboard our brand new flats boat a Mitzi 17. We can’t found too shallow water for it
Bonefish and permit still play with us. one of our wadable flats “big bone flat” gives is best result with spookyless bones in the 5 pound range and some 7 seven pound took.
One of our flat wich is dedicated to permit give good luck to anglers too with an average of 15 great cast by day.
One day, one of our bonefish flat give us a nice luck with a pod of 3 permits in the 40 pounds range tailing in the deeper part of the flat. We had them 27 foot of us for 5 minutes of shaking knees for my customer. This time again them had been tricky and before we could move backward as they were getting closer. Them horse size eyes seen us and them explode the flat in a runaway to outer reef bareer it took them 3″ to cross the 110 yards to bareer.
