Genmar Holdings, the parent company of Hatteras, Wellcraft, Aquasport, Hydra-Sports, Stratos, Ranger and other boat companies, recently renamed its Logic line of “roto-molded” boats. The boats, which include models from 12 to 21 feet, will now be marketed and sold under the Triumph banner. Genmar has invested a considerable amount of money and effort in its patented Roplene production process, which basically involves molding the boats out of melted plastic. The end result is a product that is lightweight, super durable, and inexpensive to build. Triumph Boats are also inherently buoyant and environmentally friendly, as the construction process produces few, if any, harmful emissions.
